Why Jack Davis?
The economic policies crafted by the lobbyists and corporations are destroying the American economy and crushing the American worker. When there are 63 lobbyists for every Member of Congress and the powerful multinational corporations can all but write the legislation, it’s no wonder that the taxpayers, myself included, are disgusted and mistrustful of government.
Despite all the broken promises, failed policies and the steady drumbeat of bad economic news and the rising death tolls and casualty rates in Iraq, I am still an optimist. I believe in America and I still believe our best days are ahead of us.
I believe if we just protected our workers and the spirit of entrepreneurship that made America great – we will be great again. Our current policies tax work and reward our competitors. We need new policies that ensure people in Western New York can achieve the American Dream by finding a good paying job right here at home.
If we had good paying jobs and balanced trade all of our problems would solved. We would have a solid tax base, we would be able to invest in properly educating the next generation of Americans to compete in a changing world, Social Security would be forever solvent, and we would have the means, economic and moral, to lead the world to an era of prosperity and security.
I am the only candidate with a lifetime record of creating jobs, balancing budgets, and getting things done for working men and women. I am running on that record, because I think the lawyers, the lobbyists, and the career politicians have had their chance. They haven’t led, they haven’t fought for you, and I will.
