Jack Davis says he's created a new political party to guarantee himself a spot on the ballot in the 26th Congressional District in western New York.
Davis says he still expects to win the Democratic primary over Iraq War veteran Jon Powers and lawyer Alice Kryzan, but created the “Save Jobs and Farms Party" to ensure he will be on the ballot even if he doesn't.
Davis said his campaign presented 7,000 petitions to the board of elections. The Republican candidate is Christopher Lee.
